You started your life out right, listened to the mainstream advice, went about your days, lived a colorful life, had hopes and dreams for the future. you basically were attached to all this emotional garbage, to this colorful idea of life and how mysterious it all is until something broke that illusion and I think that reality check is something different for each person.
If you see through this game then it suddenly becomes no fun anymore.
For some it was a divorce, for some it was the death of a loved one, a car accident that you survived, it could be anything and it happens to everyone eventually (identity crisis) and I would say it’s far better when you experience it in your early 20’s than when you are in your 40’s, realizing that life has no meaning, that you’ve been fed and lived a lie.
You’ve been drinking that colorful soda all your life and now you had to switch to water which is bland and has no taste. That is reality, that is life. Life is water.
Unplugging from the Blue Pill world & becoming Red Pill is like switching from drinking soda to water for the rest of your life.
From there on out there are two things that happen and I think a lot of people struggle to reach the second step and I can’t blame them, it’s hard to get out of that depressive & nihilistic hole.
For example: If your whole life revolved around the idea of talking to other people, partying, socializing etc. and then you get this reality check, you suddenly realize that you are wasting your time with most of the people you are talking to.
When every single choice you made came from one impulse to another, and then suddenly you get the truthbomb (the unplugging) then you won’t be able to process that new reality. You’ll become paralyzed.
That’s why after the unplugging you tend to fall into a depression of some sort, nihilism will make a lot of sense, you lie in bed and ponder on the meaning of life (or the lack of it), wondering why and for what reason this all exists.
It’s a weird albeit freeing situation, especially if you manage to reach the next step which is to come to terms with the fact that you’ve been living a lie, that most things don’t work in the way you imagined and so on.
You gotta take this new found freedom to give yourself and your life a purpose. I know that this is easier said than done but if you don’t want to live a miserable life & be depressed then you have to reach this step and that takes a lot of motivation since you know on a fundamental level that your actions don’t mean jack shit, so doing things without having a purpose yet requires confidence, self-love and motivation.
Another thing is that you can’t bullshit your way out of that situation. You can’t take the blue pill again, there is no going back. The feeling that life is inherently meaningless will never go away.
A lot of blue pill people (if not all of them) know that, yet they are afraid to take the next step and jump over their depression and nihilism so they rather drink their soda kool-aid thinking that everything is fine and nothing bad is going to happen.
Don’t be like them. You have to apply this new found insight and do something with that.
Use that freedom that you have now and look for problems in the world that need to get solved, find some purpose for yourself, mold life to your imagination because once you realize that all of this has no meaning you become free to give it meaning. Do what you want with it, free from the shackles, free from the matrix.
It’s your choice and only you can get yourself out of that cycle of self-pity and depression, once you managed that you are free to do what you want.
Instead of falling into this abyss and staying there you have the ability to use that insight and make a difference in whatever area you choose.
As always thanks for reading. This was a bit different from what I usually post (again unedited flowstate writing) and I thought it was important enough to share it. Let me know what you thought in the comments below and if you experienced this after becoming RP aware.
P.S. Did you like what you read? Then I highly suggest to take a look at my book SHATTERED you can get it on Amazon.
